I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 11 years experience in counselling and mental health in a variety of settings, including corporate, hospital, university and private practice.
I am also a mother of a sensitive, emotional and very energetic 8 year-old boy, and I understand the challenges of balancing work and family. I feel passionate about supporting adults, children and families to overcome difficulties and experience greater happiness and psychological wellbeing.
I have over 11 years experience supporting adults with a range of life, career and psychological challenges, in particular, anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma, low self-esteem/confidence and relationship difficulties. I believe in helping my clients to gain insights into their feelings, beliefs and behaviours and teaching them helpful strategies so they are empowered to make positive changes. I use strategies from cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness both in my own life and to help others.
I am also passionate about promoting the well-being of the whole family. Being a parent can be profound and rewarding and also demanding and confusing! I love to support women to make a smooth transition to motherhood and overcome perinatal depression or anxiety and coach parents in strategies that promote their children's well-being as well as help to reduce their emotional and behavioural problems.
