About Me

I provide practical and effective therapeutic solutions to support and guide you through any challenges or crisis you are facing. I have worked with children, teenagers, adults and families on issues ranging from anxiety and depression to addiction, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder and parenting.

My philosophy and practice aims to assist you to 'make the most of yourself' by providing practical tools and using a variety of therapeutic methods that work for you. Unlike many psychologists and counsellors, I do not use a one size fits all approach. As a Clinical Social Worker I assess issues holistically and tailor my service so it is flexible and effective in improving how you both perceive and manage life's challenges.

I draw on a range of effective and creative therapeutic interventions as well as assist clients to access and connect with other services and community supports. Therapies include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing – EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, relaxation strategies, play and art therapy.

For face to face sessions, I offer Medicare Rebates for customers with Mental Health Plans.
